I have been told "just make it happen" and when I get firm and set a date and write it on the family calendar, all of a sudden everyone is gone. I shouldn't worry so much about the dress code and setting and when they are all there. Just set up the camera on a tripod and take some pics. It's so hard to get respect from skids. I have 3 skids (SD is 9, SS is 11, SS is 16) and my boys are DS 6 and DS 14. Thanks again, just having someone to talk to helps so much, I feel so alienated a lot of times.

I am very sensitive when it comes to that kind of stuff. I would do a family photo that you have someone you know take and put it on the schedule... even bribe them. Everyone must be there. Then have it up somewhere prominent so that they see that you're in there and that is reality.
